Feeding Guidelines: Blue Freedom with LifeSource Bits will provide your kitten with superior nutrition plus a unique nutrient and antioxidant package specifically for her needs. Transition to Blue: Start by mixing 25% of Blue with your cat's old food, and gradually increase the proportion of Blue over the next 14 days. Recommended Daily Feeding Chart (Use a standard 8-oz measuring cup): 1 to 3 lbs: 6 to 19 wks: 1/4 to 1/2 cups per day; 5 to 9 Mos: 1/4 to 1/2 cups per day. 4 to 6 lbs: 6 to 19 wks: 1/2 to 1 cup per day; 5 to 9 Mos: 1/2 to 3/4 cups per day; 9 to 12 Mos: 1/4 to 1/2 cups per day. 7 to 10 lbs: 5 to 9 Mos: 3/4 to 1 cup per day; 9 to 12 Mos: 1/2 to 3/4 cups per day; Over 10 lbs. + 1/4 cup for each 2 lbs. over 10 lbs. Note: Individual kitten's requirements may vary from this chart due to age, breed, environment and activity level. Adjust food as required to maintain optimal body condition and ask your veterinarian if you are unsure. Kittens in their first year require two to three times more food than adult cats. Feed kittens at 3-4 weeks of age all the moistened Blue they can eat three to four times per day.
