We Recommend: Always clean jars before use. Wash the jars thoroughly and rinse in clean, hot water. Ensure the surfaces are free from chips, scratches or any remnants of food. Avoid the use of metallic or abrasive sponges and allow jars to dry naturally. When preserving any food it is essential to sterilize the jars before use. Rubber seals can be dipped in boiling water before use to sterilize them. Fill the jar and leave appropriate space between the preserve and underside of the lid (usually 1-2 cm). Ensure the jar rim is perfectly clean and the rubber rings are positioned correctly. Close the jar lid and secure the clip. Process the jars using your preferred method or following your recipe instructions. As the jars cool the clip holds the lid firmly in place while the vacuum is forming. After the jar has cooled check a vacuum seal by releasing the clip. The lid should remain firmly attached to the base. If a vacuum has formed, close the clip and store in a cool dry place, away from the light. Care & Use: Dishwasher safe. Always clean jars before first use.
