Directions
Recommended Dose(s): All age groups: Maintain adequate fluid intake. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Do not swallow in dry form. For the relief of constipation: Effects observed 12-24 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days. Adults and Adolescents 13 years plus: Take 4 tsp. 2-3 times daily. To prepare, stir 4 level tsp. (4.8 g) into at least 250 mL (1 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately. Children 6-12 years: Take 2 tsp. 2-3 times daily. To prepare, stir 2 level tsp. (2.4 g) into at least 125 mL (1/2 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately. For lowering cholesterol: Adults: Take 3-4 tsp. 3 times daily. To prepare, stir 3-4 level tsp. (3.6-4.8 g) into at least 250 mL (1 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately. Take preferably before meals.

Do not use: 1) if you have difficulty swallowing 2) if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate 3) if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur following inhaled and/or ingested psyllium, in which case discontinue use. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating.

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
