Directions
Recommended Dose(s): All age groups: Maintain adequate fluid intake. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Do not swallow in dry form. For the relief of constipation: Effects observed 12-24 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days. Adults and Adolescents 13 years plus: Take 4 tsp. 2-3 times daily. To prepare, stir 4 level tsp. (4.8 g) into at least 250 mL (1 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately. Children 6-12 years: Take 2 tsp. 2-3 times daily. To prepare, stir 2 level tsp. (2.4 g) into at least 125 mL (1/2 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately. For lowering cholesterol: Adults: Take 3-4 tsp. 3 times daily. To prepare, stir 3-4 level tsp. (3.6-4.8 g) into at least 250 mL (1 glass) water, juice or milk, stir briskly and drink immediately. Take preferably before meals.
Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.

Consult a health care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use: 1) if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever 2) if you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement. Do not use: 1) if you have difficulty swallowing 2) if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate 3) if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur following inhaled and/or ingested psyllium, in which case discontinue use. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating.

Instacart pickup cost:
- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:
- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
