Whole Wheat Pastry Flour, Unbleached White Flour (wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Miniature Raisins, Evaporated Cane Juice, Scottish Oatmeal, Rolled Oats, Sweet Dairy Whey (milk), Buttermilk Powder (milk), Baking Powder (sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Corn Starch, Monocalcium Phosphate), Cinnamon, Sea Salt (magnesium Carbonate), Nutmeg, Baking Soda.
Directions
Keeps best refrigerated or frozen. Cooking Instructions: 1 Package Scottish Oatmeal Scone Mix; 3/4 cup water, 1/2 cup cold butter or non-hydrogenated margarine. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place the entire Scottish Oatmeal Scone Mix contents in a large bowl. Use a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the mix until it resembles small peas. Stir in the water to form a soft dough. Divide mixture in half. Turn out onto a floured work surface and pat into two 6 inch discs. Place on a greased baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Cut each circle into 6 wedges. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. For a fun variation try adding 2/3 cup of your favorite chopped nut for a new twist.
