Made from Sicily’s most recognizable red varietal Nero d’Avola, Lamùri, meaning ‘love’ in Sicilian dialect, represents the Tascas’ love for their native Nero d’Avola grape variety. With 100% estate-grown Nero d’Avola grapes cultivated in the highlands of the Regaleali Estate, this wine was vinified through temperature-controlled fermentation between 20-25°C (60-67°F) in stainless steel tanks over 25 days and was aged 12 months in 20% new & 80% 2nd & 3rd year 225L French oak (Allier and Tronçais) barrels. Lamùri expresses the varietals signature aromas of red fruit, such as plum and cherry with sultry aromas of sweet spice and thyme.
