"“I don’t believe in compromises or shortcuts. If you want an eco-friendly diaper to be successful, it has to perform at least as well as the best traditional diaper.”The woman behind the words is Marlene Sandberg, the momtrepreneur who started ECO by Naty over 22 years ago. Then as now, the goal remains the same: to create the best, most natural and eco-friendliest baby products possible. The ECO by Naty diaper is the market leader within eco diapers and praised worldwide for superior performance. Additionally; with Naty you are assured that only natural materials will ever be against your baby’s skin or your skin, making ECO by Naty the healthiest choice.Go Greenest Today!Chlorine & Fragrance FreeNaty diapers are 100% totally chlorine free and contain no perfume whatsoever – just another way we have reduced the amount of harmful chemicals coming into contact with your baby’s skin. Are the diapers compostable?Yes, but only when handled properly. In fact, no diaper from any brand is suitable for home composting – to kill stool bacteria, you need a high temperature which isn’t possible to achieve when composting at home. However, ask your local garbage disposal service or local government office if they can compost diapers.
Natural & Renewable MaterialThe main absorbent of the diaper is wood pulp, responsibly harvested from Scandinavian forests and carries FSC certification. The various layers of the diaper are also made of natural, biodegradable materials, such as compost certified tissue and sugarcane. All of our products are 100% GMO free! We’ve Got The Certificates To Prove ItBoibased and Compostable Certifications:VincotteOwned by European Bioplastics, our Vincotte certificate ensures our diapers are completely biodegradable and are harmless for the composting process.FSCThis label means that all the wood for the pulp used in our products is responsibly harvested and is sourced with stringent FSC certification requirements.Swedish Asthma & Allergy AssociationA recommendation from SAAA is only possible if the product is completely hypoallergenic – no allergens, no perfumes and no other irritating substances whatsoever. Additionally, we have the support of the Swedish Environmental FoundationWhen is the appropriate time to switch to Naty pull-up pants? When your baby is transitioning into a toddler (e.g. moving around a lot, squirming during diaper changes because she doesn’t want to lay down and so on), pull-up pants can be a quicker and more comfortable option than regular diapers. Girls typically are ready for potty training earlier than boys. Girls usually around two years old and boys usually around two and a half years old. Corn Based (GM Free)We use a GM free cornstarch film as a leakage barrier. It’s fully compostable and just as effective as plastic – only gentler on your baby’s health, as we don’t need to use any harmful chemicals. What diaper size should I choose for my baby? Our diapers are normal in size, so pick a size where your baby’s weight is in the middle of the recommended weight range. Of course, babies come in all shapes and sizes, so you might need to switch up or down after trial, but this is a good place to start! Is the packaging made from renewable material?Yes, all of our products have completely recyclable packaging. Naturally BreathableOur cornstarch film breathes, unlike plastic, which results in an airier, drier and more comfortable diaper. This also helps to prevent diaper rash – one of our main benefits, according to many Naty parents. Why are your diapers the greenest? No other diaper on the market has earned the independent “OK biobased 60-80%” certificate, which is pretty clear evidence of our eco-friendliness. We believe in 3rd party certifications and full transparency - greenwashing is our worst enemy. "
