Different parts of plants are used, including the leaves, stems, roots, barks, seeds and flowers. Herbs are often blended together, and prepared and consumed as teas. The Chinese tradition of using herbs and teas has been passed on from generation to generation over the centuries. Triple Leaf Tea comes from such a tradition. It is made in the USA by a Chinese American family-owned business. The company owner can remember stories of his own grandfather selling herbs and teas in his village in China. Today, these traditional Chinese herbs and teas are available to you. We wish you harmony, balance and well-being. Ginkgo & Decaffeinated Green Tea: Now you can enjoy the benefits of ginkgo, green tea and Chinese herbs without all of the caffeine! Our green tea is decaffeinated using a carbon dioxide effervescent process to produce a decaffeinated green tea with a smooth and mild flavor. Carbon dioxide occurs naturally in air. It gives carbonated mineral waters their fizz. This tea is made from ginkgo and decaffeinated green tea along with a blend of revered Chinese herbs including ginseng, eleuthero (commonly called Siberian ginseng), astragalus, poria, fo-ti and licorice root. Chinese herbalists considered them to be beneficial herbs that helped lift the spirits (chi). Ginkgo has been cultivated in China for ages. The ginkgo is estimated to be 270 million years old. Ginkgos are long-lived, with some trees said to be more than 2,500 years old. Enjoy this delicious tea hot or iced. We use oxygen bleached tea bags. Our boxes are made from recycled paperboard and biodegradable inks. Please recycle. Satisfaction guaranteed by refund or exchange. See inside flap for brewing directions. Blended and packed in California, USA.
